This project has been on my list for a while and I couldn’t tell you why I didn’t complete it sooner. It took less than 10 minutes to put together and it looks so good in my office! Keep reading for a tutorial on how I created this oversized fabric covered cork board.
Supplies:
- 24” x 48” frame (I used an old canvas frame)
- 24” x 48” cork board
- Broadcloth or canvas drop cloth fabric (cut to 27” x 51”)
- Pushipins
Tools:
- Heavy-duty stapler
Video Tutorial:
Written Instructions:
- Using the heavy-duty stapler, staple the cork board to the frame
- Flip the frame around so the corkboard is touching the fabric (pro tip: iron the fabric before)
- Fold the fabric onto the back of the frame and staple the fabric, make sure to pull the fabric taut while stapling
I’m so in love with how it turned out! Now I can display and plan all of my projects visually using this oversized fabric cork board.
