She’s back with another preserved moss tutorial! Last year I shared how to create Moss Wall Art and today I am showing you how to make a moss bowl centerpiece. Basically the same thing, in a different font 😉
This project is also a trash to treasure creation – the vessel is a reused candle jar! Take a look at the before and after below.

Here are all the materials you will need:
- Bowl or Vessel (I repurposed an empty candle jar)
- Various preserved moss
- Preserved moss adhesive
- Hot glue gun
- Scissors
- Styrofoam
Here is a quick video of how I put my Moss Bowl Centerpiece together:
Here are written instructions on how to create the centerpiece:
- Fill your vessel with styrofoam to add shape and volume
- Use a thin layer of peel and stick preserved moss to cover the filler
- Spot where you want to place the moss throughout the vessel
- Hot glue the moss on top of the adhesive moss you are happy with the layout
- Admire!

I didn’t have to spend a dime on this project! I used leftover preserved moss from my previous Moss Wall Art project and reused a candle jar. I love making something out of nothing 🙂
