DIY Moss Bowl Centerpiece

She’s back with another preserved moss tutorial! Last year I shared how to create Moss Wall Art and today I am showing you how to make a moss bowl centerpiece. Basically the same thing, in a different font 😉

This project is also a trash to treasure creation – the vessel is a reused candle jar! Take a look at the before and after below.

Here are all the materials you will need:

Here is a quick video of how I put my Moss Bowl Centerpiece together:

Here are written instructions on how to create the centerpiece:

  1. Fill your vessel with styrofoam to add shape and volume
  2. Use a thin layer of peel and stick preserved moss to cover the filler
  3. Spot where you want to place the moss throughout the vessel
  4. Hot glue the moss on top of the adhesive moss you are happy with the layout
  5. Admire!

I didn’t have to spend a dime on this project! I used leftover preserved moss from my previous Moss Wall Art project and reused a candle jar. I love making something out of nothing 🙂
