I always search for a reference image on Pinterest before I go to the nail salon because I want to make sure the nail tech gets my nails done exactly how I envision it.  I know, I know . . . I’m still working on speaking up at the nail salon if I don’t like their work. Give me a break, it’s a work in progress. 

But as I search through Pinterest for nail color inspo, I realize I never find pictures featuring a tan skin color relatively close to my Black and Filipina mixed skin.
